The patience of the Prophet Ayyub [a.s] The history of the Ayyuw (at the time) provides comfort to all those who are ill or deprived of property or children.
The history of the Ayyuw (at the time) provides comfort to all those who are ill or deprived of property or children.
The angels were discussing human nature, their obedience and their rebellion.
One of them said that Ayyuwb is the best in the world. He was a faithful believer, always praying for Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala). Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) He blessed her for eighty years. All this time he did not forget to worship or thank Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala). He shared his wealth with the poor and clothed the naked.
Shaytwaan did not believe that there was a true servant like Ayyuwb. Shaytwaan thought that his wealth was the cause of his truth, so he asked Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) for His power to get rid of Ayyuwb for the wrong purpose. Allaah took him to measure His Prophet.
He showed from this loss by saying that the wealth belongs to Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) and I thank him for the Provider and I thank him for the one who took it. He knelt down in prostration. This made Shaytwaan angry.
Shaytwaan twice tried to lose Ayyuwb after losing his wealth by asking Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) for his power to keep him healthy and healthy. Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) He said I would give you strength in his body, but I warn you to reach his spirit, tongue, heart, because in it lies the true Imaan. Ayyuwb showed the course he followed when he was deprived of his wealth.
Shaytwaan realized that he could not lose Ayyuw, so he went to his wife to lose her (to deceive her), by reminding her of their past (wealth). Shaytwaan succeeded in deceiving his wife. That led him to complain to Ayyu about their current situation. This prompted Ayyuwb to swear that he would hit 100 strokes if Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) restored him to health.
Shaytwaan was unsuccessful in losing Ayyuwb. Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) Restore all that he lost. It remained to Ayyuwb to fulfill his vow of beating his wife.
Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) ordered him to strike at his wife 100 strands of bamboo at once, in sympathy with the mother. Truly Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) is abundant in mercy.
The Ayyuwb story will always be a reminder to all of us. We need to read this story over and over again for the sake of memorization. Most of us complain of a small thing in life. Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) gave him a test of Ayyuw in a way that we really should be involved with.
His faith and patience is something that as true Muslim believers we try and implement in our lives, while He gives us a test in these situations. He says Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) in the Qur'an:
"... We certainly found him patient, a good servant, he was certainly very humble." Swaad: 44
During this time we must remember Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) more, to practice worship, and to be more thankful rather than dissatisfied with our circumstances. We have to glorify and thank Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) for all the trials He will give us. As we know, this is a time when Shaytwaan tries to manipulate our minds, emotions, and weaknesses. Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) He will never forget to pay a great servant.
Says Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala):
"And (Mention) Ayyuwb when he called upon his Lord, he said:" I have found evil in thee, and Thou art the most Merciful of all the merciful.
"So we accepted him (his call) and took away from him the harm he had, and gave him his people and their example with them. It is a blessing from Us, and a reminder for those who worship) Al-Anbiyaa: 83-84.
Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) Give us imaan and patience during exams, Aamiyn.
