RULES OF JUDGMENT... Avoid ridicule in Islamic religious matters. This is one thing that undermines binaadam Islam. Allaah Says: “And if you ask them, they say: We were just gossiping and dancing. Say: Did you mock Allah and His Signs and His Messenger? “Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you believed! ” (Suratut-Tawbah verses 65 and 66)
RULES OF JUDGMENT
1. Avoid ridicule in Islamic religious matters.
This is one thing that undermines binaadam Islam. Allaah Says:
“And if you ask them, they say: We were just gossiping and dancing. Say: Did you mock Allah and His Signs and His Messenger?
“Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you believed! ” (Suratut-Tawbah verses 65 and 66)
Ibn Taymiyah (Rahimahu Allaah) stated that: "To make an mockery of Allah or His Signs and His Messenger is to die. And the man who does so has reviled you after believing. ”
So do those who ridicule some Sunnah, such as laughing at people in short hair or shaving, or women wearing hijaab, or Niqaab, etc.
Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Uthaymiyn said in al-Majmu'u ath-Thamiyn, 16/3: “Things relating to the Shari'ahs of Divinity, Apostasy, Wahy and Religion are sacred things to be honored and respected. It's not a joke, and it's not allowed to disrespect or laugh or make fun of it. The person doing this is Kaafir and it shows that the man is disrespectful to Allaah, and to his Apostles and his Books and Islamic Laws. The person must repent for Allaah, and ask for forgiveness and reconcile his actions and create fear for Allaah. He must also glorify Allah and extend his will to Allaah in his heart.
”
2. Matters Must Be Authentic And True
The Prophet (Swalla Allaahu 'salam alayhi) said:
"Woe to him who utters lies to make people laugh." (Abu Daawuud)
The Prophet (Swalla Allaahu 'salam alayhi) warned us about this common practice and said:
"Binaadam may have said something to make fun of his colleagues and went into the Hellfire far enough for the act." (Ahmad)
3. Do Not Threaten Yourself And Farewell to Your Companions
Those heroes and practitioners in particular, or those who seize arms or metal, or who take advantage of the darkness by exploiting the weaknesses of their peers and intimidating and shocking them.
Said Abu Layla, "The Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allaahu 'salam alayhi) grew up traveling with the Prophet (Swalla Allaahu' alaihi salam) and one of them fell asleep and slept. Some of them tied him up with ropes and when he woke up
She was very shocked and scared. The Prophet (Swalla Allaahu 'salam alayhi) said:
“It is not good for a Muslim to intimidate a fellow Muslim. (Abu Daawuud)
4. Insulting Someone With an Eye Forwarding or Saying Violent Words
People differ in their ability to perceive and in their behavior; some people are weak, and those who are accustomed to despise their peers can make such people ridiculous. Allaah forbids such behavior in this verse from suratul-Hujuraat (49:11)
“O you who believe! Men should not despise their fellow men, nor should women despise their fellow men. They may be better than they are. And do not abuse one another, and do not call one another by slander. It is wrong to use a bad name after you have believed. And the unrepentant, they are the unjust. ” (al-Hujuraat 49:11)
Ibn Kathiyr said in his Tafsiyr:
“It is intended to insult and ridicule you. This is unnatural and is regarded as the behavior of hypocrites. ”
Some people laugh at someone's shape, or their motions or their partner's car. The fear of Allah may cause the person to think of those he laughs at. The Prophet (Swalla Allaahu 'salam alayhi) said
“Do not rejoice in the plight of your Muslim brother. Allaah Can make you find what you laughed at or made fun of ”. (at-Tirmidhiy)
The Prophet (Swalla Allaahu 'salam alayhi) warned us against insulting and condemning people because such behavior would bring resentment to the Muslim community. The Prophet (Swalla Allaahu 'salam alayhi) said
“Any Muslim is a relative of a fellow Muslim. Lest he despise or chastise him. Taqwa is here (and shown on his chest three times) every Muslim is expelled for a month; his blood, his wealth, and his honor. ” (Muslim)
5. Joke Don't Cross Borders
Some people make fun of it until it becomes their habit. This is contrary to the behavior of Muslims who are supposed to be sincere and careful. Massage is a break from work and earnestness and long-term focus, it is the entertainment of the heart. 'Umar bin' Abdil 'Aziyz said:
"Fear scorn because it produces hatred."
Imaam an-Nawawiy said:
“Forbidden types are cross-border tones and they are normal and behavioral. This kind of joke causes a lot of laughter and distress to the heart of a Muslim. It also causes one to forget Allaah and it aggravates people to hurt and generate hatred between them. ”
6. You Must Know Someone's Position
Some people can make a joke with everyone without distancing a person's rank or status. Scholars say that the elderly have their rights and we must know the character of the person we are facing. Don't make fun of fools and strangers with strangers.
